Acceptable Use Policy
1. Introduction
This Acceptable Use Policy (“Policy”) outlines prohibited activities related to the use of the digital customer loyalty services and other offerings (the “Service”) provided by Regulars ApS (“Regulars”), including access to the associated website located at https://dashboard.getregulars.com/ (the “Site”). This Policy is an integral part of Regulars' Subscription Agreement and the Terms of Service for the Site. In the event of a conflict between this Policy and any provision of the Subscription Agreement or Terms of Service, the latter shall take precedence unless explicitly stated otherwise within this Policy.
Regulars reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to the Service or Site if this Policy is violated. Such actions may be taken even if the breach occurs unintentionally or without direct authorization if deemed necessary to ensure compliance with legal obligations or to protect the security, privacy, rights, or interests of Regulars, its users, or third parties.
Regulars may amend this Policy at any time by posting an updated version on the Site. Continued use of the Service or Site constitutes acceptance of the latest version of this Policy.
2. Harmful Content
The Service and Site may not be used to transmit, distribute, store, or otherwise introduce malicious software or technologies, including but not limited to viruses, worms, bots, Trojan horses, spyware, or any code intended to harm, disrupt, or exploit any system or data.
3. Unsolicited Communications & Spam
The Service and Site may not be used for transmitting unsolicited communications, including bulk emails (“spam”) or messages designed to harass, annoy, or deceive recipients. Users must respect opt-out requests and may not manipulate sender identities (e.g., phishing, spoofing, or misrepresentation).
4. Intellectual Property Infringement
Users must not engage in any activity that infringes upon or misappropriates intellectual property rights, including but not limited to copyrights, trademarks, patents, trade secrets, or proprietary information belonging to others.
5. System Security Violations
Users must not engage in activities that compromise the integrity or security of any network, computer, or communications system (“System”), including but not limited to:
- Unauthorized attempts to probe, scan, or test vulnerabilities.
- Unauthorized access to networks or systems.
- Monitoring, intercepting, or tampering with data transmission.
- Disrupting or overloading services through denial-of-service (DoS) attacks or similar tactics.
- Forging network headers or impersonating other users.
6. Unauthorized Data Access & Scraping
Users may not use automated tools such as spiders, robots, scrapers, or similar technologies to access, extract, or index information from the Site or Service without prior written consent from Regulars. Additionally, the Site may not be framed, mirrored, or otherwise presented in a manner that misrepresents its content or ownership.
Regulars allows public search engines to index content solely for the purpose of enabling searchable references to publicly available material. However, Regulars reserves the right to revoke this permission at any time.
Users may not use the Service or Site to collect, process, store, or distribute personal or confidential information without proper authorization. This includes but is not limited to personal identifiers, login credentials, and financial data belonging to other individuals.
7. Compliance with Laws
The Service and Site may not be used in any manner that violates applicable laws, regulations, or legal obligations, including but not limited to those related to privacy, consumer protection, and data security.
8. Prohibited High-Risk Usage
The Service is not designed for use in environments where failures or errors could result in physical harm, loss of life, or significant property damage. Examples of prohibited high-risk applications include but are not limited to aviation control systems, emergency response systems, and industrial safety operations.
9. End-User Responsibility
Users are accountable for ensuring compliance with this Policy by anyone who accesses the Service or Site through their account. Assisting or enabling others to violate this Policy is itself a violation. Prohibited conduct applies not only to direct actions but also to those that indirectly facilitate, promote, or encourage policy violations.
10. Monitoring & Enforcement
Regulars reserves the right, but does not assume an obligation, to investigate suspected violations of this Policy. In response to violations, Regulars may take actions such as:
- Removing prohibited content from the Site or Service.
- Reporting unlawful activities to regulatory authorities or law enforcement.
- Cooperating with investigations by providing relevant network and system data.
- Restricting, suspending, or terminating Service access.
11. Reporting Violations
If you become aware of a violation of this Policy, you must promptly report it to Regulars at [email protected]. Users may be required to cooperate with Regulars in taking remedial actions.
This Policy is in place to protect the security, reliability, and fairness of the Regulars platform, ensuring a safe and compliant digital loyalty ecosystem for all users.
